TJ Galiardi brings a unique and dynamic blend of experience to his role as President of Steel River Group. With a career spanning real estate, entrepreneurship, professional sports, and corporate development, he offers a rare combination of strategic insight, leadership, and adaptability.

Over the past 15 years, TJ has been active in real estate as both an investor and developer, building a deep understanding of market dynamics, risk management, and sustainable growth. His thought leadership in the industry has earned him invitations to lecture at renowned institutions including Rice University and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Before transitioning into business, TJ enjoyed a successful career as a professional hockey player. Drafted while attending Dartmouth College, he went on to play in the NHL for the Colorado Avalanche, San Jose Sharks, Calgary Flames, and Winnipeg Jets. The discipline, perseverance, and high-performance mindset gained from his time in professional sports continue to shape his approach to leadership today.

In recognition of his impact, he was promoted to President in October 2023. Today, he leads the company’s group of businesses through a period of strong growth, with a focus on innovation, Indigenous economic empowerment, and cross-sector collaboration.

Outside of work, TJ is a devoted husband and father to four young children. He finds balance and energy through daily physical activity—especially tennis—and recharges with nightly sauna and cold plunge sessions. Family life and wellness remain his personal foundation and source of inspiration.
